In the beginning it’s appearance will be evident. In time,it will turn pink. After a certain period it will simply look like a finger nail mark. Just like c-section marks. It will not completely disappear.

Childbirth after the Abdominoplasty Surgery

One year after childbirth, you may have this aesthetic surgery.

It is possible that 18-24 months after the Abdominoplasty surgery, you may get pregnant again. This aesthetic surgery will not affect your baby’s development when you get pregnant.

How much time needs to pass until you can return to the gym?

Following approval from your plastic surgeon you may return to heavy sports after 2 months.

The difference between Mini Abdominoplasty and Full Abdominoplasty

• If you have problems above your belly button, Full Abdominoplasty is undertaken.
• If you only have problems below the belly button, Mini Abdominoplasty is undertaken.

Healing duration after Abdominoplasty

• Is done under general anaesthesia and clinical conditions
• You will have to stay one night in the hospital
• One week rest at home is necessary
• Antibiotics and painkillers will be prescribed
• Corset usage for 3 weeks

Bruising, swelling and numbness may be felt on the abdomen area. These will heal within 6 months.

Is Abdominoplasty a solution for obesity?

If you are obese or have an excessive amount of weight, first you have to lose weight with exercise and diets. Generally we recommend stomach staple surgeries. These are conducted by general surgeons.

After this stomach surgery, serious weight loss is experienced and sagging in the skin is evident. For this sagging, plastic surgeons conduct abdomen aesthetic surgeries.
